Talking Tarot

In an attempt to rebalance my life (work has been taking over, along with an extra dose of stress) I’ve decided to get back to one of my loves, the Tarot. So, in what may be a comedic attempt, I’m going to pick a card a day to re-learn. I’ll choose it in the morning, which gives me all day to think about it, and by the end of the day I’ll have a clear picture of the cards meaning. I haven’t decided on which deck I’ll use. Maybe I’ll pick a different deck everyday – I have….plenty!

My goal is to reconnect with the cards. I use to be very accurate in my readings, almost scary according to some. I’ve lost that ability, or at least I seem to. I can look at a card now and….I’m blank. I see the images on the cards and there’s nothing. No emotions, no instinct, no light bulb kicking on, no nothing. All I see is work and all the worries that go with it!

So, it’s time to get back to me and what I love!

Consider this fair warning! To Tarot or not to Tarot that has always been the question. The answer of course is TAROT!!

“The true Tarot is symbolism; it speaks no other language and offers no other signs.”

~Arthur E. Waite~
